Well the first big event is complete and what a great success - Kidz in the Middle (http://www.disabledliving.co.uk/Kidz/Middle)

What can I say, the staff at the event were so helpful from the security guys to the electricians who helped us with the lighting and to all the others that worked on making the Kidz in the Middle event run so smoothly and successfully - we were so grateful – Thank You!

We weren’t really sure what to expect when we arrived at the RICOH hall in Coventry our stall looked smaller than expected for the whole van full of sensory products we had brought - I never pack lightly!!!!

We were very grateful having nice neighbouring stalls as ours was overflowing with customers wanting to try the Senseez cushions and water beads and have a look at our Chew Jewellery section - it really was a squeeze.

It was lovely to meet so many of you face to face, in addition to meeting lots of new people that had never heard of us before and of course meeting some of your lovely kids and letting them try our sensory products out. Really such a inspiriting experience for the whole team to be part of.

So the highlights for us I think were meeting some wonderful other companies whose products we will be highlighting on Multi-Sensory world soon. Also a highlight for me was Amy playing with a little girl with the water beads and her throwing them everywhere! They were bouncing all over the place and as she was picking them up, the little one did it again! Amy was mortified it happened twice whilst on her watch :-) it was like a scene from a comedy show and the little girl thought it was hilarious!

We also welcomed a young girl with autism who didn’t sit down very much unless in her buggy. Her parents were really shocked when she tried out our new range of Senseez pillows, and then she sat down for quite a while - I’m told she is still enjoying it at home.

We really are so grateful to Disabled Living (http://www.disabledliving.co.uk) for the amount of new customers we now have on our website and on our Facebook page since attending Kidz in the Middle. Were looking forward to Kidz up North later in the year.
